An emergency debate on reforming Victorian laws, which mean abortion is illegal in Northern Ireland, saw MPS share their own experiences yesterday. Stories of the ordeals Northern Irish women have been through in order to get an abortion were also discussed. @brennajessie_ exclaimed: “Sending solidarity, love and strength from Scotland, Northern Ireland.” @Gerrycarrollpbp stated: “Jeffrey Donaldson, who supports the reintroduction of the death penalty but yet claims to be ‘pro-life’. The mind boggles.” @Fudge_finn stressed: “The DUP are giving off about Westminster wanting to impose British regimes in Ireland. Imagine. Shocking.”

Kate Spade customers were offering condolences in memory of the late fashion designer, whose death shocked fans on Tuesday. The designer hadn’t been affiliated with the brand since 2006, but her eponymous company has resonated with fashion enthusiasts since 1993. @Aaronkatersky posted: “Flowers outside Kate Spade store on the Upper West Side in memory of the designer found dead in her home of an apparent suicide at age 55.” @sheraehoneycutt lamented: “Country Club Plaza, KC. Where Kate Spade grew up and shopped. Now a namesake store of hers is just blocks away. A true Kansas City, fashion, and entrepreneurial icon. We will miss your sparkle.” @Daviesg04 added: “Just heard the news about Kate Spade. It just goes to show, you really don’t know what’s going on in someone else’s head! #Itsgoodtotalk.”
