Saints cool on superstar boss
St Mirren chairman Gordon Scott admits he is unlikely to appoint a ‘superstar manager’.
Former Barcelona striker Patrick Kluivert and exreal Madrid playmaker Guti emerged as potential candidates in recent days.
But Scott reckons he needs someone with a knowledge of the Scottish game to succeed Jack Ross.
Asked about Kluivert and Guti, Scott said: “I wouldn’t rule them out completely but it is very unlikely.
“You need a certain type of manager in this league. You can’t just bring in somebody because they have played in a Champions League final.”
