Southern takes off with new role

A director of Stagecoach is to step down from the board to take up a new position at budget airline Easyjet.

Julie Southern, a nonexecutive director at the Perth-based firm, holds other directorships, including on the board of Cineworld.

Stagecoach chairman Sir Brian Souter said: “On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Julie for her contribution to Stagecoach Group.”
