Duke will make Middle East trip

The Duke of Cambridge will meet Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas during his historic visit to the Middle East.

William will sit down for separate talks with both leaders during his five-day visit to the region – the first official trip to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories by a member of the monarchy on behalf of the Government.

The duke’s visit comes amid protests in the run-up to the 70th anniversary of Israel.
