Arctic explorer’s grandson opens visitor attraction
Polar explorer Captain Robert Falcon Scott’s grandson will open new facilities at a visitor attraction in Dundee.
Falcon Scott, will visit Discovery Point tomorrow to officially open the newly refurbished conference suite and museum galleries.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary this summer, the centre has undergone a £500,000 facelift. Located at Dundee’s waterfront, the award-winning visitor attraction has updated its gallery spaces to include hands-on fun such as a touch-screen map of Antarctica and a dress-up area.
