Travel warning after serious collision on A9

Police in Forth Valley are appealing for witnesses following a serious road collision involving a car and HGV on the A9.

The incident happened at about 12:55pm on Tuesday 12 June at Balhaddie, about one mile from the Shell Service Station, heading towards Stirling.

Road Policing officers attended the scene along with the Scottish Air Ambulance and Scottish Fire and Rescue Service to assess and assist with casualties and the southbound carriagewa­y was closed.

One person was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Glasgow.
