London bomb hoaxer detained
A man who claimed to have a bomb at one of London’s busiest railway stations has been detained under the Mental Health Act.
Charing Cross station in central London was evacuated during rush-hour on Friday morning amid reports of a man on the tracks.
British Transport Police have since described the incident shorty after 6:30am as a hoax and said a 38-year old man is being held under the Mental Health Act.
The station was evacuated and no-one was injured.
