Glasgow worst for drug concerns

A new Uk-wide survey has ranked Glasgow as first for concerns over drug misuse in the UK, with 72 per cent of residents saying that drug taking is an issue in their area.

According to the study commissioned by TV channel Crime + Investigation more than half of the respondents (57 per cent) believe that “red tape” in the UK actually encourages people to take more drugs.

Some 10 per cent said they’ve seen a child on drugs (13-16 years of age).
