Urgent urging

-

Scottish and Welsh First Ministers Nicola Sturgeon and Carwyn Jones have urged the Prime Minister to think again about pulling the UK out of the single market and customs union.

What is it these idiots do not understand? It is quite simple – to remain in the single market and customs union is to remain in the EU. The Brexit legislation has now been approved by parliament and means leaving the single market and customs union as part of leaving the EU. It is finished, so move on please.

lana58 So after the personal insults, guerilla tactics, hostility to the PM, Sturgeon thinks she is in a position of influence, such that she can ask Mrs May to think again. Does she really think the PM will even give her a moment’s thought?

Why are they only “urging”, why are they not ordering? Oops, forgot, they are both powerless within the ongoing process, both are outsiders with their noses pressed against the window, the Brexit process is throwing them the deaf ear. We all know they do not like it, just as we know they can do nothing about it.

Rhubarbthebushkangaroo They’re talking sense. Let’s see if Theresa et al wake up!
