Scotgold flags French delays

Scotgold, the company developing a gold mine near Tyndrum, Stirlingshire, yesterday said it is still awaiting government clearance over the sale of its French subsidiary.

Although it said the delay meant some uncertainty existed over the sale, it stressed that it is not material to the company and does not affect the planned development of the Cononish project.
