Cattle interbreed group of four championsh­ip. The wining group from the Charolais breed consisted of Harestone Jacquard, the bull from R and N Barclay, South Road, Insch, Aberdeensh­ire, Inverlochy Ingris, a cow from John Irvine and Son, Inverlochy, Tomintoul, Banffshire, Battleford Lola, a heifer from Blair Duffton, Huntly and Harestone Matilda, another heifer, also from Blair Duffton.

Individual cattle interbreed championsh­ip. Robert and Jean Graham’s 18 month old Limousin heifer, Graham’s Niaomi, by Claragh Franco and out of Graham’s Coffee took yet another ticket back to Airthrey Kerse, Bridge of Allan, Stirling.

Junior interbreed cattle championsh­ip. A Milne and Son, Elgin with their young Charolais bull. Proving that different judges have different opinions, judge Andrew Stott of Canonbie gave the reserve ticket in this section to the eventual overall interbreed champion from the Grahams of Airthrey Kerse.

Sheep interbreed individual champion Stuart Wood, Woolhilloc­k, Skene, Westhill, with his Beltex gimmer, Woodies Call Girl, on her first show outing. By Carrigans Bob Lee

Swagger and out of an imported ewe. Reserve -the Bleu de Maine champion from J & W Baillie, Hillhead of Covington, Thankerton. The home-bred gimmer by Maximum Obama and out of a home-bred ewe, was also on its first outing.

Sheep interbreed pairs. Traditiona­l Blue-faced Leicesters with a four-shear tup from R and A Mcclymont, Kirkstead, Yarrow and a homebred gimmer from M and C Drummond, Cassington, Maybole.
