Idiot or genius?

-

Idiot or genius? This is a question that’s being asked about the style and strategy of President Donald Trump in the US and beyond.

If he really is an idiot his abrasive and aggressive ways, unchecked, could prove to be disastrous for us all. However, if his ways prove to resolve the Iran, Korea and World trade problems he will be acclaimed as a genius and a Nobel Peace prize will be his.

However, if his style and actions are a true definition of genius, how will the leadership teaching change in the business schools of the world, in fact how will his success formula be taught in all educational, social and religious institutions?

Much more importantly, what will parents be advising their children on the values of living life to the full, a successful life?

Could it be that whether an idiot or genius, the attitudes and approaches of President Trump could devalue all of humanity – whatever the outcomes?

There is a striking similarity between SNP and President Trump supporters when they rally round their respective leaders chanting what the they are saying and pledging blind loyalty, whatever the circumstances.

First Minister Nicola Sturgeon should be careful to cap- italise on this and not be so critical of President Trump in order to repair the poor relationship developed by her predecessor Alex Salmond
