Wins for Bakole and Mcgregor

Congolese-born heavyweight Martin Bakole made quick work of defending his IBO Continental Heavyweight strap at the Hydro. Airdrie-based Bakole, pictured, sent Kent’s DL Jones to the canvas twice inside 62 seconds before the contest was waved off.

Edinburgh’s Lee Mcgregor won the IBF world youth bantamweight title with a fourth-round stoppage of Tanzania’s Goodluck Mrema.
