Cameron Intellectual Property to use new Glasgow base as springboard
0 Stewart Cameron: ‘dynamic platform to grow our team’ Cameron Intellectual Property has relocated its headquarters to new premises in Glasgow city centre as it forges ahead with expansion plans.
The patent, trade mark and design attorney practice has moved into a 2,000 square foot office at Moncrieff House on West Nile Street.
Founded in 2011 by Stewart Cameron, the firm provides a full range of intellectual property (IP) services relating to patents, designs, trade marks and copyright.
The team also includes director and shareholder Steven Mcilroy, as well as trade mark attorney Meena Murrin, who recently joined the firm to head-up its trade mark operation.
Cameron said the new office would provide an improved working environment for staff, client meetings and provide a springboard for future growth.
He said: “The business has enjoyed steady and consistent growth over the past seven years as we have developed our client base and met our commitment of providing a first-class service to our clients. We have invested heavily in our systems and procedures over the last couple of years and that investment is now bearing fruit.
“The acquisition of our new office heralds the next phase in our aspirations for growth and gives us a dynamic platform to grow our team.”
Cameron said he had recently attended the world’s largest trade mark conference, in the US, and met with local clients.
He added: “We are seeing lots of opportunity to partner with our colleagues and clients in the US to support them in filing UK and European patents and trade marks, and to help them navigate the implications of Brexit and its implications for IP. These developments… will play a key role in the continued growth of Cameron Intellectual Property.”
