Sex attacker convicted of raping teenager
A sex attacker looked on the verge of tears as he was convicted of trying to rape a 14-year-old girl.
Kenneth Solomon was found guilty following a trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
The 46 year-old had pounced on the teenager at a house in his hometown of Larbert, Stirlingshire in May last year. Solomon – who had denied the charge – was remanded in custody pending sentencing in Edinburgh on August 3.
Lord Ericht told the jurors afterwards it had been a “very unpleasant case”.
