Victim left hurt in youth attack for mobile phone

A man has been attacked by three teenage boys who tried to steal his phone.

The 29-year-old was assaulted on Shettleston Road in Glasgow, near to the Duke Street junction, at around 11.40pm on Tuesday after he was approached by the group.

He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary and received treatment for a facial injury. Officers believe the suspects headed up Duke Street towards Gallowgate.
