Time for rethink

Who is leaking confidential information from the Bank of Scotland?

I would expect an internal enquiry to find the leak.

If not, then the Bank of Scotland has just let other big businesses know they cannot be trusted with their private negotiations.

Remember in May Soros said he was funding antibrexit propaganda? I wonder if he is branching out into antitrump propaganda in the UK too?

Joan Simpson Trump is a boor, Trump is a bully, Trump makes us cringe with his lack of sophistication, traditional intellect and courtesy, but he gets people like Salmond to do what he wants, even when it’s against the law,

The banks are awash with taxpayers’ cash, which is nearly free to them, (at almost zero interest rates). So to them it’s a no-brainer to lend it out to Trump-like people.

Savers lose and Trump-likes win… ‘Twas ever thus I’m afraid…

Localnumberfife I do hope the guy will be visiting “the greatest golf course in the world” if he comes this way on his projected British visit. He’ll appreciate the wind turbines that he tried so hard to stop, but which will provide far more benefit to the local economy than his golf resort ever has.

I often drive past it (now bypassed by a new main road), and it’s very rarely I see any traffic in/out of it.

Jock Tamson SNP economy guru admits Scots ‘not quite ready’ for indyref2, writes Paris Gourtsoyannis Scotland is in an unenviable position where to cling to power Sturgeon and co have to keep bringing up the independence carrot again and again in order to keep the Saltire-waving cult on board.

In the meantime sensible Scots are being governed by a bunch of useless incompetents who shame common sense with their obstructive and uncooperative stances over everything to do with the elected government in Westminster.

The SNP shame Scotland with their deceitful nonsense in Scotland and Westminster. Thankfully the majority of Scots are not gullible when it comes to seeing through this charade.

ITWAZNAUS Time for Sturgeon and her nodding donkeys to acknowledge that the Saltire belongs to the whole of Scotland and also celebrate the use of the Union flag because we are IN the UK!

The word “Independence’’ is lying in tatters at her feet and is being blown far far away by the wind.

It’s a laughable situation for us because she now can’t defend pushing it down our

Samuel Coldstream Good. Edinburgh festivals shouldn’t get a penny more of public money. We have more important things that need funding.

DUNNOMUCH Good, if these “arts” organisations can’t stand on their own two feet they should be allowed to fail.

Ian R Mcsherry Shame he has make those plans. Such is the price (and stupidity) of that race to the bottom called globalisation, where everything is driven by price or dividend, with insufficient thought about the service provided, its customers and security of supply somehow forgotten in the dash for cash. He is trying to ameliorate the last few decades of latching on to the latest (not so) hot idea, too often adopted with quasi-religous zeal, but not thought through properly.
