German woman dies in motorbike crash on A93
A woman who died after two motorbikes crashed on a stretch of road in the north-east has been named as German biker Marietta Ruffing.
The collision, involving a whitetriumphmotorcycle and a grey BMW bike, happened at about 12:50pm on Sunday on the A93 around five miles south of Braemar.
The 65-year-old, a passenger on the BMW, died from her injuries following the crash.
Sergeant Peter Henderson said: “I would appeal to anyone who saw this incident to contact Police Scotland immediately.”
