Engineering firm ups sales advice

British engineering firm Meggitt has upped its revenue guidance after seeing betterthan-expected trading in the second quarter.

The company, which specialises in aerospace and defence equipment, said it logged good growth across its military and energy businesses, as well its civil aftermarket division – which accounts for sales of spare parts and repairs.
