Bowled over: Oban fogbow captured on camera as sunshine breaks through

A nursery nurse captured this image of a fogbow during a trip to Oban. Frances White, 54, was with her husband when she saw the phenomenon outside her hotel. Ms White, from Kilbirnie, North Ayrshire, said: “We were staying in Oban heading to Mull. It was quite misty and I got out to take a picture and saw the fogbow appearing. I had heard of it before but at first I didn’t realise what it was.”
