# PMQS

Theresa May and Jeremy Corbyn locked horns over buses at this week’s PMQS while the SNP asked about donations to the Tories. @ Richard burgon observed: “At # PMQS today every Conservative MP is wearing an ‘ NHS 70’ badge – to mark 70 years since they voted against its creation.” @ danbloom1 tweeted: “Big fan of Corbyn going on buses, it’s maybe not obvious but is one of our most neglected issues down in Westminster.” @ jamesrbuk shared: “Theresa May just said ‘ as we leave the UK’, to the delight of SNP MPS.” @ Leefergusson wrote: “Ian Blackford asks the questions again that Jeremy Corbyn should have asked.” @ georgeeaton noted: “Tory MPS laughing as Corbyn reads out a letter from a Honda worker is not a good look.”

# JKROWLING

US president Donald Trump was forced to delete a tweet in which he bragged about his writing ability after author JK Rowling trolled him over his poor spelling. @ 17Karen1973 wrote: “Your last 3 tweets are hardly at Harry Potter standard, now come on, run along and stay in your own lane and stop VIRTUE signalling from afar.

I wish celebrities would go back to being just that.” @ edgeben advised: “When bragging about your writing abilities, as Trump was doing, you really should try to avoid spelling, grammar, and usage mistakes.” @ R_ OHI_ T_ said: “Okay... So I assume JK Rowling is a super human. She never made mistakes in life.” @ omgdadno tweeted: “The Harry Potter books are great, but some of JK Rowling’s best work is on Twitter.” @ Popchassid posted: “JK Rowling shamed Trump into deleting a post because of his spelling. Then shamed him again when he posted a corrected version. This is a good day.”

# INDEPENDENCEDAY

Americans celebrated Independence Day yesterday. Some took time to reflect on Trump’s America. @ Bettemidler tweeted: “It’s the 4th of July. Only 125 more days until the Mid- Term elections. And if it goes the way I hope, THAT will truly be # INDEPENDENCEDAY!!!” @ Darla_ B shared: “Hard to celebrate # Independenceday with a traitor sitting in the White House that is the antithesis of what democracy is all about. Hopefully patriots will come out in November and end this scourge.”
