Woman named after dying in A9 lorry crash

A woman who died in a crash with a lorry in Perthshire has been named.

The incident happened on the A9 near Dalnaspida­l at 3pm on Sunday.

Helima Abdulla Massabo, 51, was a passenger in a car involved in the crash.

The Glasgow resident died, while a 57-year-old man driving the vehicle was airlifted to hospital.

The lorry driver was uninjured.

The northbound and southbound carriagewa­ys were both closed for some time to allow investigat­ions. A report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
