Celtic footballers in car crash

Two Celtic players were believed to have been involved in a car crash in North Lanarkshire yesterday.

Pictures on social media appear to show a Range Rover and another vehicle in a hedge at the side of the road close to the AG Barr factory on Mollins Road.

The photographs feature players Olivier N tc ham ,22 and Odsonne Edouard, with Moussa Dembélé also arriv- ing at the scene. A Celtic representative confirmed a collision had taken place.

A club spokesperson said: “The club is aware of an accident earlier today but won’t be making any further comment until it has been investigated.”

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said :“At 14:20 police were called to a road traffic collision involving two cars.”

One man was taken to Forth Valley Royal Hospital. He was not believed to have been seriously hurt.
