Fire crews battle warehouse fire for four hours

Around 30 fire fighters were called after a blaze at a warehouse.

The fire happened at Highland Electropla­ters on Howe Moss Drive in Dyce, Aberdeen, shortly after 10:30pm on Tuesday.

Crews battled the flames for four hours and smoke could be seen for miles.

It is understood the fire was caused by an electrical fault.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We sent six appli - ances to the scene.

“The building was checked over for chemicals.

“No-one was injured.”
