Heady experience
I was relieved to learn that engineers dismantling parts of the Mackintosh building “brick by brick” are “starting with the highest levels” (News Digest, 11 July). Even wearing a hard hat, taking out the lowest bricks first is rarely a good idea.
Come to think of it, there are quite a few structures in the countr y, especially political ones, that would be nane the waur of dismantling – starting with the highest levels.
