Coffee shop franchise brews up growth plan

A Stirling franchise business has opened a Costa Coffee shop in Prestwick and flagged further growth across Scotland.

The new location is Coffeepots’ 12th Costa outlet and has created ten jobs for the local economy.

Business partners Pat Dunese and Colin Wilson purchased Coffeepots two years ago and have since opened six Costa lo cations, including the latest in Prestwick.

The firm’s grow th, sup - ported by H SB C, which has provided as even-figu refinance facility, has increased turnover by 150 percent and created 60 jobs in the last 18 months at locations in the Central Belt.

Dune se said :“The Prestwick store is our sixth opening in the past year and a half and we have no plans to slow down. HSBC’S support has been invaluable, enabling us to realise Coffeepots’ full potential as we look forward to further growth across Scotland in the coming years.”
