USP Island love

-

If you have been gripped by the romantic shenanigans in the sunshine of ITV’S summer hit Love Island, but don’t have the requisite beauty or youth to audition for the programme, there is an easier, if more expensive, way to get your own slice of laid-

back living. An impressive modern villa in Mallorca, next door to the Love Island complex, is for sale with Scottish agents, Elan Palma, a specialist in Balearic Island property.

The house is a few miles from the picturesque village of Sant Llorenç on a elevated position looking over the countryside.

It also produces 500 bottles of wine and 300 bottles of extra virgin olive oil. It is described as a “wonderful, fun and rewarding mini estate with significant income from rentals and filming as well as a great production of good wine and olive oil”.

The kitchen and main living area has sliding glass doors opening on to the pool and extensive terracing.

All four bedrooms and bathrooms offer full height floor-to-ceiling windows looking over the stunning

gardens and countryside.

Upstairs are two large roof terraces, as well as the master suite with two balconies. In addition to the vineyard and olive grove, there is a lemon orchard.

Unlike the reality show goingson next door, it is likely to be only the price tag, at €2.9 million, that is heartbreaking.
