Pedrosa out of the saddle
Three-time world champion Dani Pedrosa will retire from Motogp at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old Spaniard announced the decision at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s German Moto GP.
The Honda star won his first world title in the 125cc category in 2003 followed by the 250cc crown in each of the following two years.
Pedrosa said: “Despite having good opportunities to keep racing, I feel like I don’t live racing with the same intensity as before and I now have different priorities in my life.”
