Crownthorpe can come good over a mile at Ayr

Crownthorpe is the pick in the Parkdean Resorts Glasgow Fair Handicap at Ayr after running a fair race in defeat at York on his latest start, writes Glendale.

Up against some unexposed rivals on the Knavesmire, he stuck on at the death over ten furlongs but might well be better switched back to a mile here as his best runs have come around that distance.
