#BREXIT

Prime Minister Theresa May has reportedly ruled out a second Brexit referendum after the former education secretary Justine Greening called for one. @Justinegreening tweeted: “Having read the detail, this deal is a fudge. It’s the worst of both worlds. Time to take the decision out of the hands of stalemated politicians and give it back to the people to decide. #Chequersdeal.” @Positivematt posted: “Brexit still has to happen to safe guard the Democratic process and belief in our Political system.”

While @ramd1889 jokingly tweeted Paddy Power, saying: “Lads, give me your odds on a Trump impeachment and a second Brexit referendum keeping the UK in the EU double.”

#SALMOND

Alex Salmond’s controversial chatshow on the Kremlinbacked Russia Today (RT) network has been found in breach of Ofcom rules. @Iwthedarkprince said: “Of course @Alexsalmond would keep LYING. Couldn’t be satisfied with lies of independence, finance and EU. Now he’s got The Alex Salmond show to spout lies for 30mins. With connections to #Trump and #Putin, could we expect any better? #Fakenews #Scotland.”

@weirb posted: “BBC and the MSM now all over the “Salmond misled audience” story. The BBC and the MSM have been and still are misleading audiences on a daily basis.” @Articlefifty50 wrote: “Ofcom has ruled that RT “broke broadcasting rules” in the Alex Salmond show. I am curious, because the dispute is about tweets that came from show producers – but they never pretended it was from viewers, as it was a debut show?”

#TRUMP

Trump and Vladimir Putin are meeting in Helsinki to discuss trade, nuclear capabilities and the

US- Russia relationship. @realdonaldtrump himself tweeted: “Our relationship with Russia has NEVER been worse thanks to many years of U.S. foolishness and stupidity and now, the Rigged Witch Hunt!”

For once it was Trump’s turn to be kept waiting, @ Norahodonnell reported: “Looks like Putin will keep Trump waiting. He’s landing about 45 minutes late at 5:47 EST, just about the time he was supposed to be arriving at the Presidential Palace. #Helsinkisummit.”
