Rape inquiry police look for ‘helper’
Police investigating the rape of a woman in Glasgow want to speak to a man seen helping the victim.
The 30-year-old was assaulted on Broomielaw, near the railway bridge over the River Clyde, on Monday evening. Officers have released descriptions of two men seen on CCTV footage who they believe may be able to help them trace her attacker.
Det Insp David Macgregor said: “This was a traumatic attack and it is critical that we trace the person responsible as soon as possible.”
