NEW MAZDA6 PRICES ANNOUNCED

Mazda has announced UK pricing and specification for the latest version of its flag ship Mazda 6 model, which goes on sale this weekend.

Featuring an upgraded cabin, revised styling and enhanced technology, plus the UK debut of Mazda’s SKYACTIV-G 2.5-litre petrol engine. It also sees the-d 2.2- litre diesel engine’ s output increase to 181bhp

Priced from £23,195 to £33,585 the Mazda6 comes in saloon and tourer bodystyles and four trim levels.

Matched exclusively to the new range-topping GT Sport Nav+ trim, Mazda’s 2.5-litre SKY ACT IV-G engine uses cylinder de activation technology to improve economy without sacrificing performance.

The Mazda6 also gets upgraded suspension and steering as well as changes aimed at reducing noise and vibration in the cabin.

Externally, the 2018 car gets a new grille, revised LED headlamps and a lower front bumper as well as new alloy wheel designs.

Inside, new materials and technology aim to improve the car’ s refinement and luxury, with a standard eight-inch centre display screen and the adoption of a full colour wind screen projected Active Driving Display.

All models now also feature blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert, radar cruise control, lane keep assist and advanced smart city brake support.
