Are you tough enough?

If you don’t get tired just watching Gladiators, Total Wipeout or Takeshi’s Castle, then you might want to take part in Rough Runners on 18 August, from 9:30am, at Penicuik Estate, Carlops Road, Penicuik. It’s an obstacle course and running event (choose from 5, 10 or 15k), with, among other things, a travelator, “sweeper arms” and “giant pigeon battles”, whatever they are. Admission from £59 (plus £4.93 booking fee) for the shortest race.
