Texo Group unveils two senior managers in wake of launch

Robert Dalziel joins as group managing director and Garry Kennie has been appointed engineering director, Texo Engineering. These strategic personnel appointments follow two recent high-profile announcements – the launch of the engineering and technology group and the acquisition of Navitas Compliance Solutions, forming Texo Compliance. Dalziel returns to the oil and gas sector after the sale of Rigmar Group where he was CEO. Kennie joins from an established engineering group, where he was the engineering director. He has more than 20 years’ engineering experience, working for a number of operators and drilling companies servicing the global oil and gas sector.
● International energy consultancy Xodus Group has appointed Tao Zhao as its new advanced engineering lead. With more than 15 years’ experience in subsea pipeline and riser design and analysis, Dr Zhao joins from Heerema Marine Contractors. Throughout his career, he has provided a range of analysis for offshore contractor and engineering consultants in both Thailand and the UK. ● Knight Frank has appointed a new head of building consultancy to drive forward business growth and expand the commercial property firm’s offering in Scotland. Richard Whitfield joins from Colliers, where he led the surveying team for more than ten years. Based at the Edinburgh office, he brings a wealth of experience to the role and will lead a team of surveyors in three offices across Scotland, helping to broaden the building surveying and project management offering for current and new clients.
● Gilson Gray has appointed Jennifer Macrae, who brings with her 20 years’ experience in business development, initially for ad agency TMP Worldwide and Saatchi & Saatchi before she became marketing and business development manager at Semple Fraser LLP.
