Hairdressers targeted in midnight raid

A thief stole cash and three pairs of hair straighteners in an overnight raid at a hairdressers.

Wonderland Hair and Beauty in Livingston, West Lothian, was targeted at about 12:15am on Monday.

A four-figure sum was taken from the salon at The Parkway retail square, along with three pairs of Babyliss hair straighteners.

Detective Constable Greig Muir said: “The theft of this money and the hair straighteners will undoubtedly have a financial impact on the salon and we are keen to trace the culprits.”
