- By COLIN STEWART

Wolverhampton Wanderers have completed the signing of Joao Moutinho from Monaco for £5 million.

The Portugal international has signed a twoyear deal at Molineux ahead of the start of the Premier League season next month.

It is a statement of intent from Wolves, who won the Sky Bet Championship title last term, as they prepare for their return to the top flight after a six-year exile.

M out in ho, who won euro 2016 with Portugal, has spent the last five years at Monaco.

He won Ligue 1 last year while also claimed three Primera Division titles with Porto, along with the 2011 Europa League.

He joins fellow Portugal international Rui Patricio at Wolves with the pair having played at the World Cup together this summer.

Patricio joined from Sporting Lisbon after terminating his contract following an attack by fans on the club’s training ground but Sporting have complained to Fifa and want compensation.

● Norwich City have announced the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Tim Krul on a two-year deal.

Krul, 30, spent 11 years with Newcastle before moving to Brighton last season and joins the Canaries on a free transfer following the end of his contract.

The 6ft 4in goalkeeper, who once had a loan spell at Falkirk, has eight international caps and was part of the Holland side which finished third at the 2014 World Cup, saving two penalties during a shootout victory over Costa Rica in the quarter-finals.
