Crawling traffic after three-car collision on A9

Traffic was slowed to a crawl on the A9 yesterday following a crash at Killiecrankie.

The trunk road was blocked in both directions for two hours.

Emergency services arrived at 3:30pm. There were no serious injuries caused by the crash, which was thought to involve up to three cars.

A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said: “Our crew made the scene safe.”
