Noise fears over shopping raves

-

Plans to hold raves at a shopping centre in Edinburgh have been put on hold after a councillor rased concerns that sound waves could travel across the Forth and disturb residents in Fife.

Promoters TV17 has applied for permission to use Ocean Terminal for late-night music and dance events – but councillors stalled the plans. Councillor Gillian Gloyer said: “The prospect of creating noise across the water of Ocean Terminal across the Forth is quite significant. The noise will carry across the water.”
