Leaders Newtonmore looking for revenge victory against Kingussie

-

Marine Harvest Premiership leaders newton more make the short journey to The Dell today to play Badenoch rivals Kingussie, writes Alasdair Bruce.

Steven Macdonald is free of suspension for More but the game comes too soon for David Maclean. Kieran Macpherson remains sidelined but Savio Genini returns for the Kings who were surprise winners when the sides met earlier in the season.

Oban Camanachd have Aidan Macintyre, Craig Macdougall and Daniel Macvicar all back for Kinlochshiel’s visit to Mossfield. But Scott Macmillan and Malcolm Clark are banned and injury rules out David Lafferty. Keith Macrae is Shiel’s main injury concern.

Skye Camanachd have an injury crisis for their trip to Tighnabruaich to play Kyles Athletic. Jordan Murchison and John Gillies are amongst their absentees but Stewart Grant returns and Marcus Ross will get a debut. Roddy Macdonald is unlikely to make it for Kyles and Sandy Mackenzie is banned. Grant Irvine and Robbie Macleod return.

Marine Harvest National Division leaders Kilmallie look to get over the disappointment of last weekend’s Tulloch Homes Camanachd Cup semifinal defeat when they play Glasgow Mid Argyll at Yoker. Kilmallie’s Martin Stewart and Innes Blackhall are injured whilst Aaron Sandison has a hamstring problem. GMA’S Ewan Murray remains out.
