Appeal after attack on man in Glasgow

Police are appealing for information after a 43-year-old man was seriously assaulted in Glasgow in the early hours of yesterday morning.

The victim was outside Calabash Restaurant on Union Street when he was seriously assaulted by a man.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he was treated for his injuries. The suspect is described as being Asian in his early to mid-20s, around 5ft 10 and of slim build with black hair. He was wearing a red sports-style zip-up top.
