Pedestrian struck by motorbike

A woman pedestrian has sustained serious leg injuries after being struck by a motorbike in Edinburgh.

The collision took place on Leith Walk, near its junction with Jane Street, at about 12:40am yesterday morning and involved a 22-yearold woman and a Kawasaki motorbike. She was rushed to hospital and is currently being treated at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Police Scotland have arrested and charged a 32-year-old man in relation to road traffic offences.
