New technology chief for SHE Software
Tech outfit SHE Software has bolstered its top team with the appointment of Chris Rydings as chief technology officer.
Rydings joins the East Kilbride-based software development company from international IT service management firm Axios Systems, where he served as global chief technology officer.
The high-level appointment comes as SHE accelerates its international expansion and gains global recognition for Assure, its software system designed to reduce risk for organisations by simplifying health and safety management.
Rydings began his career in the Army before moving into the digital sector, where he served in several high-profile roles. As chief technology officer of Scottish car dealership giant Arnold Clark he was responsible for the company’s IT divisions infrastructure.
Shechiefexecutivematthew Elson said Rydings’ “impressive technical and commercial background makes him an asset”.
He added: “I firmly believe that his expertise will be extremely influential in our continuing success.”
Rydings, who will lead the company’s global development and engineering teams, said: “Having worked in the technology sector for more thantwodecades,ibelievethat Assure has fantastic potential to shape the way organisations conduct their health and safety management.”
