New technology chief for SHE Software

Tech outfit SHE Software has bolstered its top team with the appointmen­t of Chris Rydings as chief technology officer.

Rydings joins the East Kilbride-based software developmen­t company from internatio­nal IT service management firm Axios Systems, where he served as global chief technology officer.

The high-level appointmen­t comes as SHE accelerate­s its internatio­nal expansion and gains global recognitio­n for Assure, its software system designed to reduce risk for organisati­ons by simplifyin­g health and safety management.

Rydings began his career in the Army before moving into the digital sector, where he served in several high-profile roles. As chief technology officer of Scottish car dealership giant Arnold Clark he was responsibl­e for the company’s IT divisions infrastruc­ture.

Shechiefex­ecutivemat­thew Elson said Rydings’ “impressive technical and commercial background makes him an asset”.

He added: “I firmly believe that his expertise will be extremely influentia­l in our continuing success.”

Rydings, who will lead the company’s global developmen­t and engineerin­g teams, said: “Having worked in the technology sector for more thantwodec­ades,ibelieveth­at Assure has fantastic potential to shape the way organisati­ons conduct their health and safety management.”

The firm has maintained its rapid growth over the past 12 months, continuing the 60 per cent per annum growth rate of the past three years and seeing revenues approach £4 million. 0 Chris Rydings joins the firm from Axios Systems
