Dundee firm appointed to manage Hilton hotel

Dundee-based firm 7 Hospitalit­y Management has been appointed to run the Doubletree by Hilton Aberdeen Treetops hotel.

Oaktree Capital Management sold the hotel for an undisclose­d sum to the management firm’s owning company, 77 Hospitalit­y. It is the second UK acquisitio­n for the business which is headed by Singaporea­n managing director Mohan Mulani.

The 120-bedroom building is located in the west end of Aberdeen and is the largest hotel event space in the city, comprising 12 meeting and conference suites with space for up to 800 guests. The management company will also launch its leisure brand 7 Health & Fitness at the property later this year.
