Under way at last

- Kevin Graham

While Uefa decide that you need to play an infinite number of games before you get into any competition, the season doesn’t start in the mindset of a certain aged fan until the domestic kick-off. So, when Danny Mcgrain unfurled the flag and Livingston knocked their first long ball down the wing, it felt like the start despite the professional European performances that we have produced so far.

Most fans have an element of unknown excitement as they start the season. They may have changed manager or signed numerous players. For us, we have continuity and intrigue rather than excitement. We know what the squad are capable of and wonder if they can go again without a few new faces. Our opening victory sees us continue where we left off.
