ing Gaelic education for their children with Professor Scott of Dundee University’s analysis of modern language uptake in Scottish schools. It shows a 57 per cent decline of Gaelic students in the past five years, down from 371 in 2013 to 159 now. Sounds more like a “mass movement” away from Gaelic to me.
