Mccall hopeful of keeping Shankland at Somerset Park

striker Lawrence Shankland will be in his usual place when his side visit today, with manager Ian Mccall confident the 23-year-old could be around for the entire season.

Vanarama National League club AFC Fylde had a bid of £150,000 turned down this week and despite interest from Dundee, Mccall said: “A move to England will not happen as their transfer window has shut. As for other interest I’m not sure if Lawrence would be keen on a move. He is enjoying his football here and has scored 38 times in 38 games. I do not think there is any rush for him to leave.”
