These holiday size essentials will make your camping experience a whole lot more bearable, says Katie Wright

Stay fresh with the best travel-size essentials

No one wants to lug their entire bathroom cabinet to the campsite, but shopping for festivalfriendly minis can end up being an expensive business if you decide you definitely can’t be without your Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser or Elemis Pro-collagen Marine Cream.

The other option is decanting all your daily essentials into tiny bottles, of course, but honestly who can really be bothered to do that? What you need, instead, are effective but affordable products in backpackfriendly sizes, and the good news is there are plenty of those on the high street if you know where to look.

One thing that you shouldn’t take in a travel-size bottle, however, is SPF. With research showing that Brits are applying less than half the necessary amount of sunscreen you must make sure you have a big bottle of factor 30 (at least) and slather it on liberally.

Everything else? Dinky tubes and tubs will do, and that’s what we’ve rounded up, with everything 75ml or less. Here are the best portable beauty bargains under £5.
