Fantasy island

-

A huge statue of Scotland’s mythical national animal, the unicorn, could be built on Cramond Island in the Firth of Forth, it has been suggested.

I have always thought that a unicorn monument would have a very good point... unlike a horse one, which would be pointless.

Why must Scotland claim the unicorn? It is neither an animal nor Scottish. It belongs to Greek mythology.

Could we not just put white traffic cones on the Kelpies?

More appropriate to stick the unicorn on top of Holyrood as a symbol of its utter fantasy!
