Anti-named Person campaigners have accused the Scottish Government of trying to implement the controversial scheme by the back door even if the legislation fails.
I have come to the conclusion that the only way to reset Scotland is for independence – for five years. I reckon this would give all Scots a taste of “freedumb” and I think it would be the best way to get rid of the SNP. After five years the country could have a referendum and decide for themselves.
Road to Perdition Wonder if “Named Person” is anything to do with wanting to be more Nordic. Protests mount against Norwegian Child Welfare Service. Norway’s child protective services sometimes resort to the dramatic step of taking a child from its mother right after birth. Several thousand activists have been demonstrating against the Norwegian Child Welfare Service (Barnevernet).

What surprises me about these plans is that teachers don’t seem to be objecting to the role being thrust upon them. This makes me think the whole scheme is a fuss about nothing and will just mean teachers being vigilant about children’s welfare as they are at present.

They are not being quiet about it and have voiced serious doubts and concerns. Along with the medical profession, health visitors, social workers etc.

Only those with something to hide should be against this proposal. Decent parents will welcome it as there is nothing worse than the thought of kids being neglected or worse. Some say it isn’t needed. The figures don’t bear that out.
Cluaran So instead of spending time, money and effort on finding the teachers schools need Swinney is just pursuing his private obsession. Considering the failure over farming grant computer systems, how secure will the information be? Importantly, how will this affect people as they grow into adults. Will they be affected for ever by these files?
