Electric cars could be charged in a matter of seconds using a revolution­ary battery system developed by a team of Scottish scientists, it has been claimed.

Sounds very interestin­g and if it works, is cost competitiv­e and non polluting it could be a big boost to the transfer from hydrocarbo­n powered transport to electric transport. The ultimate source of the power, ie power generation, still needs to be addressed properly.
